Lazada Super Brand Day
for Tefal, a kitchenware and small electric appliance brand
The Brief
Super brand day is a 24-hour shopping event on Lazada to promote a brand. It is Tefal on the Super Brand Day this time. This is a project with involves multiple regional teams in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines.
Deliverables
A key visual was developed to adapt into different dimensions to apply onto different positions of Lazada site and app, a master design was also provided for the regional teams for adaptation. Social media designs were also provided.
Concept
The look and feel of the Tefal brand is needed to be conveyed in the campaign. After the first round of meeting with the client, there were 3 keywords to focus on to build the design. The keywords are French, Innovate and Professional. There are several visual drafts made by our team to ask for client’s feedback.
Setback
After presenting our work to the client, the feedback we got is that we need to add a brand attribute to the design which is the feeling of home. With a turn around time less than a day, we have decided to combine some elements in the directions we had and try to achieve a feeling of home.
There are multiple rounds of feedback after we provide a new design which incorporated the home idea in it. In the new design, we used hand-drawn illustration of home elements to convey the idea of home because it has a human touch in the drawings, like it is at home.
Version 4 was the locked key visual.
Adaptation
After the key visual was locked, it was adapted into different dimension to cater to the different banner sizes on different location of the site.
Social Media
Creatives for the social media was also made including a Static, Carousel, GIF and an Animated Story. Having the branding of Tefal on their social media which is minimal, vibrant and a feeling of home, we used a lot of photos while trying to combine it with the concept we had for Super Brand Day.
All four creatives are made under the concept of telling audiences a fun fact about Tefal to make it more interesting.
Animated Story
This is an animation which aims to tell the history and of Tefal and her famous non-stick pan.
GIF
This GIF tells audiences how Tefal kitchenware saves your time.
Carousel
A carousel to tell audiences about La Chandeleur which is the festival of pancakes.
Static
A static to tell how Tefal reduces chores with both kitchenware and small domestic products.
