Brand Identity of WPM Welhome Pro
WPM Welhome Pro is a manufacturer of coffee machines and coffee accessories based in Hong Kong.
The Brief
WPM Welhome Pro aims to provide its clients professional machines in an affordable price. Emphasis is put onto the machines to highlight their functions and features.
Challenges
A balance between visual elements, images and texts has to be achieved to draw customers’ attention to the features of the products while giving the brand a professional image.
The Solution
I tried to extract mechanical features from the coffee machine and used it as visual elements in my design, for example the pressure gauge, vents of the thermal module, dot papers, etc. I wanted to bring out the engineering aspects of the machine for the professional image.
Moreover, a minimalistic style is used for the same purpose, I tried to direct the attention of customers to the coffee machines. I used a plain colour palette, white/black as the main colour with shades of grey, yellow and red, and a neutral font, Acumin (a Helvetica alternative) to achieve that goal.
The Brochures
Brochures of two versions were made to cater clients around the world, including Europe and China. The same artistic direction was used across both version of brochures.

Package
With a minimalistic direction in mind, a package which features the outline of the product was designed to put an emphasis on the technical features of the product.
Instruction Manual
Similar to the package design, I used the outline of the coffee machine in the instruction manual to resemble its technical drawings to portray the image of the fundamental design process of the machines.
Social Media Promotion
It was a seasonal sale of WPM in Christmas time, I had drawn a calligraphy title for the promotion to add some warmth to it, with a background of cartoon coffee accessories and Christmas decoration.
